What Happened to Sheila on 90-Day Fiance?

Sheila’s online romance with David had picked up pace, so much so that the couple decided to meet in person, despite their different backgrounds. The two met two years ago through a Facebook group that was made for single deaf people.

While their chemistry was roof-topped online, they decided to take it to the next level and finally met in the Philippines. The couple looked ecstatic as they met and shared mutual excitement, which was very evident throughout the episode. But both had apprehensions that held them back.

Shiela feared her family’s reaction upon knowing David was deaf and was embarrassed to introduce him, knowing that her family was going low on finances. She was hesitant to share with him about her family’s living conditions and thought it might have a negative effect on their otherwise newfound love.

The day when David met her family, navigating their way through the slums where sewage canals ran through their way, David remarked to it as her house smelled like ‘feces and urine’ and somehow got an idea of Sheila’s poverty.

The appearance of her house, which sustained a typhoon, wasn’t that great after all, and it had got worse after a fire broke out, all of which only justified why Sheila was so in discomfort while taking David to meet her family.

To top it all, Sheila’s family was also not very welcoming towards David upon knowing that he was deaf, and they were upset all along the episode. Not just for the couple but even for the viewers, the entire episode was pretty much awkward, as their embarrassment peaked through the TV screens.

Why Was Sheila Crying on 90-Day Fiance?

David-Sheila’s blooming romance only seems to go downhill as the teaser of the upcoming episode, which is set to air on the 30th of July, wasn’t that appealing. We saw Sheila crying in the short snippet as David was seen next to her.

As if the awkward family get-to-together wasn’t enough already, the show had different plans for them.

Sheila was seen sobbing as a casket was showcased in the short clip, signifying that someone from her family was dead. Who was it, and what exactly happened is left to be unveiled in the new episode.
