The feud between Adam Cole and Chris Jericho in AEW takes a new turn every week. The latest episode of AEW Dynamite saw the return of ECW legend Sabu. The hardcore legend made his surprise debut, which received a massive reaction from fans. He came to even the odds for Adam Cole and Roderick Strong against the Jericho Appreciation Society.

Adam Cole returned from a career-threatening injury last month, only to fight Chris Jericho. Their clash has been very personal, as Jericho teamed with The Outcasts to take out Cole’s girlfriend, Dr. Britt Baker. This week on Dynamite, Cole’s close friend and former team member, Roderick Strong, made a shocking debut. Strong battled Jericho in a falls-count anywhere match.

On the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, there was a contract signing between Jericho and Adam Cole. However, things took an obnoxious turn. Cole and his fellow Undisputed Era members got outnumbered by The Jericho Appreciation Society. As a result, a former colleague of The Echo and Hardcore legend, Sabu, came down to the ring.

He received a loud reaction from the audience and fans online. This was a genuine surprise, and no one saw this coming. As soon as Sabu entered the ring and evened the odds, Matt Mernard came in to attack Sabu. However, the legend threw a chair at Mernard, allowing the JAS to escape, leaving Jericho in shock.

It was later revealed that Sabu would be the special guest enforcer in the “Unsanctioned Match” between Adam Cole and Chris Jericho at Double or Nothing. This will be the two men’s first one-on-one match. Therefore, fans are excited to see what goes down at the event.

This was not the first ECW alumni to appear unannounced on AEW TV. Tony Dreamer, Juventud Guerrera, and others have also shocked the fans with their debuts. Besides, ECW veterans, Tazz, Dean Malenko, and Jerry Lynn also work for the company. On the other hand, fans went berserk this week at the shocking return of Sabu. The ECW legend rescued Cole and Roderick Strong, and as a result, fans have shown their excitement on Twitter.

Chris knows Sabu? Man, he seems to know everyone. I need to look up matches between the two in ECW or was that WCW? One of those I am sure.
