Tommy Winkler is taking over the world one crunch at a time!

The 20-year-old TikTok star, better known as the “King of Crunch” online, kicked off 2022 with an extensive road trip to try some of the most iconic food items each state in the US has to offer.

After visiting all 50 states and trying the best treats each town has to offer, Winkler is taking his fans along the journey with a fun-filled recap video that you can watch below.

“I had sooooo many favorite [foods] from the trip; it was amazing,” Winkler tells Celeb Secrets exclusively. “I loved the cheese curds from Wisconsin, the lobster rolls and breakfast bagels from the east coast were to die for, and the BBQ and chicken were just exquisite. Additionally, I loved the spud works from Idaho, the Alaskan King Crab in Alaska and Hawaii’s Spam Musubi. I will indeed make my way back to those two states just for those foods!”

Tommy talked to us all about his favorite foods from each city, what his must-do activities were, as well as his plans to taste new foods internationally. Celeb Secrets: Hi Tommy! The last time we spoke you were in the middle of your journey across the 50 states to try the most iconic food, and now you are finished! What were some of your favorite foods from the trip, and are there any foods that you wish you could have again but they are just not available near you?

Tommy Winkler: “I had sooooo many favorite [foods] from the trip; it was amazing. I loved the cheese curds from Wisconsin, the lobster rolls and breakfast bagels from the east coast were to die for, and the BBQ and chicken were just exquisite. Additionally, I loved the spud works from Idaho, the Alaskan King Crab in Alaska and Hawaii’s Spam Musubi. I will indeed make my way back to those two states just for those foods!”

CS: Food aside, what was your favorite part about traveling to each of the states? Were any of the states different from what you expected? Which states would you love to go back to?

TW: “Growing up, I traveled a lot for ski racing, so I had an idea of what to expect from each state. Rather the states be different, things varied by region… Hitting the East, South, Midwest and West sides of the country, I found myself driving through a field one minute and then all of a sudden driving through mountains moments later. Since I did the trip in so little time, it would honestly just be nice to go to all 50 states again with some more time in each.  I still don’t know how I completed it all in two months.”

CS: In addition to trying the best foods, did you have any other rituals or must-do activities when you went to each state?

TW: “I had to find the state welcome sign in all 50 states, and it was not easy finding some of them. Another tradition was always finding a hotel with a gym and a hot tub. Before leaving in the morning, I had to hit my workout and then after driving and eating all day, it felt so good to hop into a hot tub for a little bit.”

CS: We saw you went international recently! Tell us about that trip, and can we expect more international food content from you in the coming months?

TW: “Yes! I was in London and Italy eating all of the food they had to offer. You can expect a ton more international content coming in the very near future, so be ready! A series I have going right now is called “Fast Food Battle” — it’s either between two different fast food restaurants or I compare a fast food restaurant in America to the same restaurant in a different country. Those have to be some of my favorite videos to make, so you can expect a lot more of those in the near future”
