BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The two drivers in the Bogus Basin Road crash were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries.

Boise Fire and Ada County Paramedics responded to the call which involved a truck and SUV colliding head-on.

One person trapped inside the SUV needed to be extracted through a removed door.

Both lanes of the road were closed as crews worked.

The Ada County Sheriff's Office is investigating what caused the crash.

A crash on Bogus Basin Rd. is blocking traffic heading up the hill as Boise Fire crews work to assist victims.

CBS2 crews are responding to the scene of the crash but traffic is backed up considerably going up Bogus Basin Rd. Our reporter on the ground says they have only seen EMS personnel coming down the hill, indicating that traffic is currently blocked in both directions.
