Pokemon GO Raging Battles Event Details, Featuring Annihilape

Something we all have been waiting for, Pokemon GO is about to get another monkey, and this time it is the Rage Monkey Pokemon

Starting January 19, 2024, and ending January 24, 2024, Trainers will have the chance to go head-to-head with the Rage Monkey Pokemon known as Annihilape. There is a trick though when it comes to Primeape evolving into Annihilape. Now, Primeape can evolve into Annihilape after you defeat 30 Ghost-type or Psychic-type Pokemon in battle with Primeape as your buddy.

There will be some cheeky bonuses that Trainers can enjoy during the Raging Battles event.

Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently at PokeStops and in balloons
Throh and Sawk will both appear in the wild during the event, regardless of your location

There will also be many wild encounters with the Raging Battles event, and the list is the following.

As Field Research task encounter(s), the Pokemon that will be available to encounter is Mankey.

There will be event-themed Collection Challenges for this event, where Trainers will receive three Fast TMs, three Charged TMs, and Stardust for completing the tasks. If you thought that there wouldn’t be any Paid Timed Research, well, you are totally wrong. For $2, Trainers will be getting access to event-exclusive Timed Research, where you can get three Rare Candy, one Rocket Radar, Stardust, and two Premium Battle Passes.

Last but not least, from January 19, 2024, until January 24, 2024, Trainers can engage in the GO Battle Week: Timeless Travels, as well as enjoy multiple bonuses and participate in three active Leagues.

Pokemon GO Raging Battles GO Battle Week: Timeless Travels Bonuses

4x Stardust from win rewards (Does not include the end-of-set rewards and will not stack with the 4x Stardust bonus in January).
The maximum number of sets you can play per day will be increased from five to ten (a total of 50 battles) from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time.
Free battle-themed Timed Research will be available. Rewards include the avatar item Ingo-Style Hat.
Paid battle-themed Timed Research awarding Stardust, Rare Candy, and one Star Piece will be available for $1. Keep in mind that this Timed Research expires, and don’t forget to complete and claim the rewards before January 24, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. local time
