BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — If you've got friends and family in the Atlanta, Georgia area you've been waiting to visit you're in luck.
On Monday, the Boise Airport announced that Delta Airlines will begin non-stop service from Boise to Atlanta beginning in July.
It will be the airport's longest route served from BOI.
“The Boise Chamber is thrilled to see this east coast route added to BOI’s portfolio,” said Bill Connors, Boise Chamber’s president and CEO. “The Chamber and the airport have worked with our friends from Delta for several years on this route. It’s great to see Delta recognize Boise’s growth and tremendous market potential. This is a game changer for Boise’s business community as well as our convention and visitor industry.”
The flights will leave every day beginning at 12:40 p.m.
