Never seen a more sorry big Absolute embarrassment DeAndre Ayton gets SLAMMED by fan

July 2024 · 3 minute read

The Phoenix Suns finally managed to get their first win against the Denver Nuggets after losing two straight games. Game 3 concluded 121-114, with Devin Booker and Kevin Durant carrying their squad. It’s rare that the spotlight falls on liabilities rather than assets, but that’s exactly what happened today. With DeAndre Ayton failing to impress and having a poor game, his reputation as a key player for the Suns was called into doubt.

DeAndre Ayton was nothing less than an embarrassment for the Phoenix Suns in Game 3, as his lack of effort on both ends of the floor was brought to light. Ayton played for 26 minutes before he was subbed out from the game by their Head Coach, Monty Williams. In the limited minutes that the big man played, he managed to score four points and grab nine rebounds. The Suns’ 7-footer did nothing except make hilariously embarrassing sequences on the court, eventually getting roasted on social media.

Devin Booker led the way for the Suns with 47 points, tying his playoffs career-high in a solid effort. Kevin Durant followed in Booker’s footsteps with 39 points, eight assists, and nine rebounds to his name. Durant and Booker carried the Suns while Ayton struggled to find his footing.

The Nikola Jokic-led Nuggets finally suffered defeat as the series now stands at 2-1. Jamal Murray led the Nuggets’ scoring board, scoring 32 points and having five assists and six rebounds to his name. Jokic came a close second as he had himself a historic game, scoring 30 points, dishing out 17 assists, and grabbing 17 rebounds. The Joker made history yet again, recording the 9th triple-double of his playoff career, matching Wilt Chamberlain for the most by a center in NBA history.

Fans react as DeAndre Ayton delivers a HORRENDOUS performance in Game 3

DeAndre Ayton is having a field day on Twitter, considering his awful performance against the Denver Nuggets. Ayton’s performance drew criticism from NBA Pundits mid-game, and then fan reactions followed.

Fans are now after the Suns to trade Ayton for pretty much “anything” as they brutally roasted the player. The Suns’ fans are only praying for Ayton to live up to his number one overall draft pick expectations, which is far from the status quo. While fans still haven’t ruled out the possibility of Ayton dominating the court, it’s high time that the player shows up.

Have a peek at some of the fan reactions to Ayton’s dismal performance in Game 3 tonight.

Ayton doesn't deserve to be on the floor. Absolute embarrassment.

Trade Ayton for anything. I don’t care. Anything.

AYTON DEFINITELY ONE OF THEM NIGGAS THAT GOT FORCED TO PLAY BASKETBALL SINCE EVERYONE KNEW HE WOULD LOOK TOO GOOFY SITTING AT A DESK

It’ll be interesting to see how Ayton plans on bouncing back from such an awful performance, considering all the hate he has been receiving on Twitter and elsewhere. Despite being a nightly double-double threat, his lack of aggressiveness and focus on both ends of the floor is concerning for the Suns.

As for the Suns, they have now removed some pressure off their shoulders. While the series now stands at 2-1, the Suns have an opportunity to equalize it. Game 4 between the Nuggets and the Suns goes down on Monday!
