Missing Ontario woman found dead in car: Suspect deceased

The Malheur County Sheriff's Office says they have located Conner Fry.

Deputies say they found Fry dead from what they believe to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police have identified the person of interest as 30-year-old Conner Alexander Fry of LaGrande, OR, according to the Malheur County District Attorney.

Ontario Police and the Malheur County District Attorney report that a missing 24-year-old woman was found dead in her car from an apparent homicide late Tuesday evening.

Daniela Perez was reported missing under what police say was suspicious circumstances around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Law enforcement was able to utilize On-Star to find her vehicle, which was parked in downtown Ontario in a school district parking lot at about 7:00 p.m.

Daniela was found dead inside the vehicle. Police say it appears to be a criminal homicide. Law enforcement is working to identify the person(s) involved and has sent CBS2 two still images of what they say is a priority person of interest in the case.

Law enforcement ask that if you have any information about this individual, or possible location, please call Malheur County Dispatch at 541-473-5125. Malheur County Sheriff's Office in a post on social media has issued a public warning, saying that this at-large adult male is a person of interest. Do not approach him or try to detain him yourself, we do know who he is.
