Biography:

Markella Kavenagh was born on 30th January 1994 in Sydney, Australia. After a series of auditions when she was younger, she finally got her first acting job in 2018. She started her acting career on Australian television, debuting in the TV series Romper Stomper. She gained notice after playing the role of Myrtle in the limited series Picnic at Hanging Rock in 2018. That same year, she starred in the psychological drama series, The Cry.

Her roles on the small screen earned her significant attention thanks to her remarkable acting. After playing television roles, she finally had her film debut in the 2019 movie True History of the Kelly Gang. She then had a performance in the independent movie My First Summer. In 2020, she starred in the supernatural thriller drama, The Gloaming, making her more well-known in Australia. Recently, she gained further popularity after it was announced that she landed the role of Elanor “Nori” Brandyfoot in the upcoming Lord of the Rings series, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
