A new predator stalks the field but it is undecided whether it is more beast or something else entirely, capable of destroying enemies in seconds.
Voruna, a wolfpack-themed Warframe is now stalking enemies and turns out to be quite the strategical Warframe on certain missions.
While Voruna is not as easy to get as other Warframes, it can be with little to no effort as long as you can handle things on Lua.
Voruna Abilities
Voruna Passive Ability: She can call upon each wolf’s passive power by holding an ability during missions.
Below are the Voruna’s Abilities:
1) Shroud of Dynar
Dynar makes Voruna invisible and accelerates her speed, which also gives her the ability to gain a buff after attacking enemies with a melee attack.
The melee attack will cause her to gain an increase in critical damage, status chance and will inflict bleed on enemies while also extending the buff’s duration when an enemy is killed.
Holding the ability will cause Dynar to guard Voruna, increasing her Parkour Velocity.
- Critical Multiplier increases with Ability Strength
- Invisibility Duration increases with Ability Duration
- Buff Duration increases with Ability Duration
- Energy Cost reduced with Ability Efficiency
2) Fangs of Raksh
Causes Voruna to leap toward an enemy while Raksh sinks its teeth into them, causing them to gain 5 random Status Effects applied with 10 stacks each.
When a target that has been inflicted has been killed, it will cause the Status Effects to spread to other enemies.
Holding the ability will cause Raksh to guard Voruna, increasing her Status Effect resistance.
- Damage increases with Ability Strength
- Leap Range increases with Ability Range
- Spread Radius increases with Ability Range
- Energy Cost reduced with Ability Efficiency
3) Lycath’s Hunt
Using this ability will send Lycatch to hunt to sustain the pack, causing enemies killed by melee damage to drop Health Orbs and enemies killed with headshots to drop Energy Orbs.
The duration of Lycath’s Hunt is extended when an enemy that is suffering from 5 or more Status Effects is killed.
Holding this ability will cause Lycath to guard Voruna, increasing her Heavy Attack Efficiency.
- Lycath’s Hunt Duration increases with Ability Duration
- Duration Extension increases with Ability Duration
- Energy Cost reduced with Ability Efficiency
4) Ulfrun’s Descent
Voruna enters a stance on all fours, allowing her to consume 5 charges to lock onto enemies and do a powerful leaping attack.
This causes the whole pack to attack enemies to deal increased damage to those who are inflicted with status effects and lethal attacks will double the damage of remaining charges.
Holding this ability will cause Ulfrun to guard Voruna, giving her an extra life to prevent her from dying.
- Damage increases with Ability Strength
- Damage per second increases with Ability Strength
- Leap Distance increases with Ability Range
- Damage Radius increase with Ability Range
- Duration of Damage Per Second increases with Ability Duration
- Energy Cost reduced with Ability Efficiency

As of now, there is no Voruna Prime variant yet, but this can change at any time.
Farming Lua Thrax Plasm
Getting your hands on Lua Thrax Plasm may not be so hard at first but you may eventually figure out that you need a ton of it.
This is not only useful for getting your hands on Voruna, but it also allows you to get her signature weapons as well, meaning you will need to do a bit of grinding.
As of now, you can only get Lua Thrax Plasm from the Lua Conjunction Survivals (Yuvarium and Circulus) to obtain the resource.
Final Thoughts
Voruna can be used in different ways and her abilities make her quite an asset to any team since she is great for both offense and defense.
Her ability to summon different members of a pack provides her with different actions which can benefit your gameplay depending on which equipment and playstyle you have.
Not only do Voruna’s abilities provide good utility and damage, but they are also good for mobility and getting to certain areas or enemies faster.
