Baker Mayfield and his wife, Emily, are making the most out of the remainder of the NFL offseason.
After last year, there were legitimate questions regarding the pair’s football future. Nobody believed that Baker would out of the league altogether, but many thought his days as a starter could be behind him.
Fortunately, Tom Brady’s retirement opened up the perfect opportunity for him. Baker wound up signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a one-year deal that could be worth up to $8.5 million.
Now he will slide into a very similar offense to the one Brady had success with – confirming once and for all whether or not he can lead a team successfully in the big leagues the way he did in college.
With business more or less settled for now, Baker and Emily have been making the most of their offseason. Between the boat parties and holiday celebrations, it has been one thing after another for them.
And this week was no exception.
On Tuesday, Emily took to social media and shared some intimate date night photos.
It doesn’t matter whether they are on a date night, a so-called “boys’ night” or just having a standard weekend – the Mayfields always know how to have a good time together.
It’s quite telling that in a week where Brittany Mahomes’ bathing suit photos caused such a hubbub, the Mayfield Clan still found a way to steal the show.
Fun times aside – this is going to be a huge year for them.
Obviously Baker’s stints with the Cleveland Browns, Carolina Panthers and to some degree, the Los Angeles Rams, didn’t go as planned.

This is going to be his last shot at proving his mettle as an NFL starting passer. If he succeeds here – he could be the Bucs’ franchise quarterback for many years to come.
Should he fail, then it’s probably bench roles from here on out.
What will Baker ultimately be able to do in the 2023-24 season? Time will tell, but he will inevitably have Emily supporting him every step of the way no matter what.
